    Willem-Jan Schutte, Co-founder & Partnerships

As Co-Founder of Glubble, Willem heads strategic partnerships. In building the U.S. and European business units, he ensures Glubble’s mission of using the Internet to bring families closer together through experiences they can share. Prior to co-founding Glubble in 2006, he developed several successful startups, including Plasticsplatform.com which was sold to McGraw-Hill in 1998 and BackStream which was bought by Ordina N.V. in 2005. He also serves as Chairman of Internet Holdings, Ltd., the parent company of Glubble and Glaxstar Ltd., a leading developer of Firefox add-ons for Digg, Ebay, Yahoo!, and others. When Willem is not working to provide families more fun online, he and his wife enjoy activities with their two little girls (and the family’s big dog).

Bartel Scheers, Vice-President Content & Editorial Development

As Glubble's "Nutty Professor," Bartel remains a child at heart. He is passionate about creating exciting new characters and entirely new worlds - be they deep underwater or high in the galaxy - where children can play and learn. He has worked on movies like Disney's Tarzan, developed cross-media games like Atlantis, and developed the clever strategy for Disney Princess, a first-time format where the famed Disney characters interacted with one another leading to a series of DVDs and a retail line that let every little girl be a princess. It’s no wonder that Bartel creates so many adventures, as his life has been full of them - from meeting the Dalai Lama as he raised support for The Campaign for Tibet to walking the Red Carpet with stars of the movies he marketed and innovating fan call-in campaigns for favorite artists at MTV.
